In Honor of International Forgiveness Day

The Forgiveness Imperative

On August 6, 1945, the United States, with the consent of the United Kingdom, dropped a uranium atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima, and three days later dropped a plutonium bomb on the city of Nagasaki.

With these two events, human society was suddenly confronted with the very real possibility of its own destruction.

International Forgiveness Day occurs on the first Sunday in August of each year, in memory of these two monumental events.

International Forgiveness Day is an opportune time to pray for global peace and forgiveness.

It’s also a powerful time to turn your mind and heart toward those you want to forgive, or those whom you want to forgive you.

We all know that forgiveness can be hard. To help you get into the feeling space of forgiveness without having to slog through the storylines, listen and tap along with this audio recording in which I combine EFT Tapping with the Polynesian practice of Ho’oponopono.

Allow this practice to move forgiveness energy through your system, to help you call your soul home from the traumas of past wrongdoing:
